Overview of the Program

Each year, we invite a small group of newly admitted freshmen USC students to participate in USC’s Summer Bridge Program, which was created to help ease the transition to college academic life at USC.

The USC Summer Bridge is a unique six-week program that has won praise from past participants. It is designed to transition you from high school to college. The program provides a required class, five to six academic educational workshops, special co-curricular programs, and a strong sense of community. As a participant, you will have great professors, meet other entering freshmen, benefit from peer mentors, and get a head-start on your courses. Students with financial need receive full tuition coverage, course readers, and e-books.

The 2024 USC Summer Bridge Program will begin Sunday, June 9, through Friday, July 26, 2024.

Enrollment Contracts will be emailed to invited students after May 1 and submitted to the Office of Undergraduate Education by Friday, May 10, 2024.
